Job Description

JL Allen Services is a general contractor exclusively servicing the pipeline industry. We specialize in the construction of pipeline stations and pipe fabrication.

The primary function of this position is oversight and development of personnel and plans to maintain our safe work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and refine safety plans and policies
• Develop site specific safety plans for each project
• Train and develop site safety personnel
• Manage drug and alcohol plans and coordinate testing
• Work with internal/external customers to ensure safety of all employees and stakeholders across multiple projects simultaneously
• Operator Qualification plan management, to include Veriforce
• Manage and update client portals such as ISNetworld
• Claims management for any injuries that would occur

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge and proficiency of safe construction practices
• Must be able to effectively support and communicate with entire project team
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills
• Knowledge and application of all OSHA standards and practices
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency to evaluate risks prior to construction start
• Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent assignments
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience directly related to safety in the Oil & Gas Industry, specifically station or plant type environments
• Proficient understanding of pipeline facility construction projects
• Additional work outside of normal business hours may be required
• Will require travel between office located in Central Illinois and projects on the East Coast.

Compensation

• Salary Range - 80,000 - 105,000
