Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Under general direction from our field TTL (Technical Team Lead) perform chiller preventive maintenance, repair, installation and replacement of associated HVAC mechanical equipment, chiller equipment control systems.
  • Self-starter with a passion/desire to learn and apply on the job
  • Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items
  • Ensures work is being performed in compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest of ethics
  • Properly completes all required project and service documentation
  • Adheres to customer and C-K Control Temp safety standards
  • Uses best judgment on escalation for critical issues
  • Assists in developing quotes and estimates, as appropriate
  • Assists with the identification of material needs required for service delivery
  • Communicates with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site
  • Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction by providing a world class experience
  • Assists with keeping customer informed on the nature of service provided outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or repairs as applicable
  • Conducts self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency
  • Completes all training and certifications as required by the client or C-K Control Temp

Qualifications:

  • Union Card Holder– Plumber and Pipefitter Local
  • High School Diploma, GED required
  • 5 + years ’experience in general HVAC maintenance
  • 3+ years' experience in general chiller installation/maintenance/service
  • Air cooled / water cooled, various compressors
  • High tonnage, absorber experience
  • Clear Motor Vehicle Report
  • Ability to pass company drug screen and background check
  • Ability to be professional, courteous and pleasant with all clients
  • Ability to act independently
  • Effective interpersonal skills to represent C-K Control Temp properly to customers and other outside contacts
  • Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people
