This role is for you if:

• You have a 5+ year history of building dominant affiliate programs in the hyper-competitive North American D2C sleep industry.
• You don't just manage affiliates; you build unbreakable relationships with the most powerful organic publishers and performance partners in the market.
• You are a master negotiator who uses data not just to report, but to architect winning strategies that consistently exceed ROAS goals.

Your performance is measured by tangible, high-impact results from the moment you start. Your first 90-day mission is clear and has two core objectives:

🎯 KPI #1: Land a New Strategic Partner

• Target: Launch one new affiliate partner generating $100K in first-click revenue within 90 days.

ROI Requirements:

• Upfront fees: 30-day payback
• Commissions: 300% ROAS minimum
• Additional costs: 5X ROI within 6 months

🎯 KPI #2: Secure a Tier-1 Publisher Placement

• Target: Secure a Top 10 placement for Puffy in a Tier-1 "Best Mattresses" guide
• Tier-1 Publishers like: Sleep Foundation, Forbes, Good Housekeeping, Wirecutter/NYT, Sleepopolis

Timeline:

• Month 1: Secure review commitment from 3+ publishers
• Month 2: Complete testing with 2+ publishers
• Month 3: Achieve published Top 10 placement

Success Metrics:

• $50K+ monthly revenue from placement
• If paid placement required: 30-day breakeven with performance guarantees
• 200% ROI minimum (including all costs → Commission+Upfront)

Achieving this is the first step. In 12-24 months, you will have built a world-class partnership engine and be working with complete location flexibility while leading global affiliate strategy.
